About

Dominique was born and raised in New York City. Her mother, a former Alvin Ailey dancer, introduced her to the arts at an early age. By the time Dominique had completed high school, she’d studied music at The Juilliard School and modeled for some of the fashion industry’s most renowned including Donna Karan, Calvin Klein and Vogue magazine.

Dominique’s university years were spent obsessing over biomimicry, sustainable development and Nikki Giovanni poems. Once she had her BA in Industrial Design in hand, Dominique left for Dakar, Senegal where she partnered with artisans to diversify, market and sell their jewelry online.

Following a brief stint in Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula, Dominique returned to New York City where she began her career in tech working for TheKnot assisting the CEO, CMO and Editor in Chief. The company’s predominant female leadership and unique online to print business, equipped Dominique with the skills to go on to hold the most senior creative roles at The Bozzuto Group, a nationally recognized real estate company, and Population Services International (PSI), an international public health NGO.

Dominique’s non traditional upbringing and foundation in human centered design continues to inspire her in her later youth as a Senior Interaction Designer at YouTube innovating the video watching experience. Her work has appeared in TechCrunch, Washington Post, Business Insider, and her personal style on the cover of New York Time’s Thursday Style.

Though akin and heavily biased to New York City, she currently resides in California offering unwavering curiosity, ingenuity and partnership.
